Community Impact
Transform MS CIC is focussed on delivering its social purpose; to benefit people with MS and their community. This we do through a range of different mechanisms – covering research, commercial activity and direct investments.
Over time we will develop this page to provide a more comprehensive summary of our impact - we will also commission reports which assess our community impact independently.
Just some of the ways Transform MS and our work supports the MS Community :
Direct investment of income in roles that support local clinical services.
Investing our teams time and expertise in international, national, regional and local projects to protect and improve Multiple Sclerosis clinical care,
Supporting a longitudinal research study - SWIMS – which has been measuring the impact of Multiple Sclerosis helping to advance understanding in Patient Reported Outcomes since 2004.
Developing new Patient Reported Outcome measures that more accurately capture the impact of MS – this leads to improved understanding of MS and supports the development of new treatments.
Direct investments in events such as MS Society Information days and other events that support people living with MS and their community.
